Stable Exp
The way I usually do it for PVE is find a map about your level or maybe a bit below, and just try to complete the map and do any DEs you see. Having the objective to work on helps me forget to look at the exp bar. Can usually get 3-5 levels from completing a map. Many maps can be completed in a few hours, or one nights worth of gameplay.
shajin has it. i worked on world completion and in each zone i was able to level up rather quickly while getting 100%. what can help is eating food as it gives a small boost to exp from kills. guild banners stack on top of it too and i think the other consumable with the wrench icon? forgot what that type of buff is called.

That is what I do but that is not my question o.o;
and the only sort of stable source I’ve found so far is circle farming in WvW, I don’t really like it though. It is fun to sabotage enemies like that some of the time but not for hours at a time (not to mention zerging/getting zerged x.x)-
Btw, the apple and wrench are both called nourishment I believe.
and stable=“I know there is xp where I’m goin.” in a sense not hoping for events. Terrible luck running in to them most of the time.

thanks for clearing that up. do you want stable exp in the form of events? or killing mobs as you clear a zone? i’m already at 100% completion now so for for me, stable exp to get the 400 or so i’ll need for a legendary consists of wvw and killing 75-80 mobs for the mats/node farming.
in fact, node farming can be pretty lucrative in terms of exp if you find a highly concentrated area of them. the southern part of malchor comes to mind…many cypress saplings and mithril nodes
too bad the exp boosters don’t increase the gain on harvesting.
also, if you’re on a server that regularly clears the temples in orr, you can chain those to get levels very quickly.
before the pve died in devona, there was a dedicated group of guild [RED] that would run grenth over and over(failing at the end so we could farm the events in rapid succession). i think i gained near 7 levels in 1 night’s worth of play
