Got 4 more today, items that used to stack in the bank now demand their own stack.

Yep, can do the hack-a-stack by putting them all in inventory, logging out, logging back in and stacking.

I somehow felt that problem had been fixed, but some of today’s items were the scroll’s of knowledge, which are once again unstackable.

This should be a trivial item to fix permanently, for all items, but it might require hiring an actual software person to do it.

It’s software. It will have bugs. Anet will determine that some bugs will be more important to fix than others.

Personally, can think of SEVERAL bugs that came out with the latest patch, for which there are no workarounds, that are more important to focus on.

I know this started while ago with the “Experience Scroll” that one got with their characters birthday. it was only 2 items, so i didn’t mind too much.

But now it’s with everything. Boosts, Mystic forge stones, Merchant express. I need twice the bank storage that I used to have because these items don’t stack anymore.

Same items only some say “Account bond” others “Account Bond on Acquire”
I think this is a bug that now needs to get fixed, it’s getting out of hand.

though I will try that hack-a-stack, never tried that. ty

That hack-a-stack seemed to work for everything…. but the Experience Scrolls, they still dont stack

Two separate items, actually. Second Birthday EXP scrolls can be upgraded in the Mystic Forge, while First Birthday EXP scrolls cannot.

The rest are caught up by the bug, and are fixable with the workaround. But the scrolls are actually two different items that happen to have the same primary effect – their only difference is that one can be used in the Forge, and the other cannot.
