I thought I would just point out that starter gear, such as engineer backpack, necro makeup, guardian helmet, etc, are now available to all professions within the wardrobe if you unlock it.

So, if you have a spare character slot, I would suggest deleting and recreating a character with each new piece of gear to get the full collection.

Yeah but this isn’t possible for everyone. I’ve bought 3 character slots previously so I could have 1 of each class, with most of my characters now either close to lvl 80 or max lvl. For some reason none of the starting armours have been unlocked for my lvl 80 characters, even though clearly they were at one point lvl 1. Only option is to break out my credit card and get a new slot, which considering the state of this update i’m not going to do. (brief edit: not getting at you, great suggestion but just pointing out issue for ANet that not everyone can do this )

That’s why you always need at least one empty slot.
