I’ve noticed that the stats for “traveler / explorer” armor set is wrongly scaled.
It’s taking MF stats as the main stats but it’s not scaling the main stats as for different part of the armor.
E.g, for the Strong (Power/Precession/Toughness), the stats for foot is: 34, 24, 24 where as the power being the main stats as 32.
The stats for the breast plate is: 104, 72, 72 (so every stats got buffed to 3 times on chest)
Stats also get buffed in leg piece and shoulder piece too
But if u check the traveler’s set (Magic Find/Power/Precession), stats for foot is: 3%, 24, 24, from here we can deduce Magic Find being the main stats.
The stats for the breast plate is: 3%, 72, 72 (here main stats is NOT being buffed as it should be for ALL THE OTHER kind of stats combinations, including berzerker’s set). The main stats should’ve buffed to 9% in theory or design pattern.
So my argument I don’t think it’s intended and rather an overlook for the design. Why would you design the magic find feature to a cap of 3% on all armor pieces? It also happens in weapon where it’s capped for 3% (where as the critical dmg is 9%, so it has nothing to do with % stat values. All the stats are reflected in a same design pattern EXCEPT for the magic find)
Conclusion: Only game designer would tell if it’s intended or not
If it is a bug, please fix it and I would be very happy to keep using that stats for farming purposes.
If it is intended, I would get my magic find stats from runes / food / sigils because using this set would potentially cost me a huge setback on the main stats (roughly 325% loss in the main stats which could be concluded as about 110 stats point). Especially for the FOM dungeon where u better have those stats to help out.
