???? They’re stealth implementing it? News feed and dev tracker say it isn’t up yet.

1. go to your account (on the forums, not ingame) and hit the “invite a friend” tab. Input the name/email you use beneath your forum name.
2. Add your friend’s email in the space provided below, Invite them

I have just used this and am chatting with my friend right now. He received it no problem. We are only wondering how he uses the code given, apparently there were no instructions on that part

Here’s the issue I am having.

I’m on SoS. I’ve been there since launch, it is my home.

I’d like any new friends to join me there, but finding a time to do that is getting more and more difficult and the hoops you have to jump through to get it all lined up is insane, but I digress.

I have a friend who bought the game, and I’m get them on SoS, looking every hour for an opening. Looks like today will be a bust. I’m hoping Wed/Thur might be a good window.

Now, if I can’t transfer them this week, then I’m going to join them on [Insert Reject Server Here], which will really be unfortunate for me, but I guess that’s what you get for having friends?

Anyways, back to how this relates to this cute program.

It was stated by a mod to not worry, that your little friend invites would get to play on your server for the duration of the event (the underlying assumption being I’d be back to square one if any of those people subsequently bought the game and wanted to join me, but again, I digress).

So what if, I send out invites to 3 people, and they sign up, and then I go join my other friend (we’re all friends and family, I won’t go into details :p), where do those people go? At what point in time is it determined where their destination will be?

Honestly, this whole server full stuff is for the birds. It doesn’t solve anything. Even if they implement the ‘join’ functionality, it’ll solve nothing, because it won’t include PvP or WvW or whatever else…it won’t work for ‘all’ things.

So in summary, everyone log off SoS for like 30 minutes please so I can go move my friend! :p

If only ANet invested in one of those infinite servers with unlimited resources!

Servers fill up, that’s how things work. That’s the reality.

Your main options are as follows:

1. Wait until well off-peak when it is no longer showing as full
2. Transfer to a emptier server temporarily.
