Q:

I know GW2 is different than other MMO’s but im still in the dark of what there is to do on GW2. I know theres quests, and cool vistas too see and such. But when your done leveling what do you do? is there Raids? Dungeons? I would like to know what the end game content is, or if there isnt any.

A:

Dungeons, fractals, getting the best aesthetics(so many cool skins and legendaries,), just chilling out in the main city with instruments/tonics and messing around with others in costume brawl and what not.

In short: you can progress on fractals which is a leveled dungeon that goes up infinitively in level, but each 10th level becomes exponentially harder than the level before it, the first 10 are a cakewalk, then the agony mechanic kicks in and you need to gear up by finding/buying ascended gear and fitting it with agony resistance, while also going up in skill level using strategy for each part. In a way, the fractal dungeon is the true end game, there’s also new fractals added occasionally.

The “end game” is essentially the same as “the game.” There are some dungeons to run if you want, fractals, map exploration/completion, and of course PVP/WPVP. If you’re feeling particularly frisky/min-max-y/grindy, you can set out to get Legendary weapons and/or Ascended gear.

Living Story content, which is released periodically, is often a big part of it… although there hasn’t been any for a while since the “season” ended…

So like I said, the end game is the game. I’m always a bit confused by this concept in MMO-RPG’s where people go, “Okay, I’ve done a bunch of quests, now I want to fight the same bosses over and over for 4 months so that my numbers go a little higher.”
