It’s been over 4 years and humans still have no beards
*cough *cough, beards worth mentioning

We have either: several models of stubble that looks the same from a small distance
or the beard my grumpy uncle has when he cosplays santa clause.

Isn’t it about time humans get some trimmin’ love?
This would be a great selling point for the next expansion, me thinks.

Pirate beards, braided bears, egyptian or asian beards (for people with canthan and elonian descent). Shouldn’t be too hard, right?

…and while theyre at it lets hope for some characters that look older then 18! lets make a show of solidarity against mmorpgs unfair discrimination against old people by chanting, “old is bold!” WHOS WITH ME?

This has been a problem for me since the first make over kit came out.

We get new faces. We get new hair.

Why do we not get new third option styles. For humans and norn that would be beards. For asura and Sylvari that’s ears. For Charr it’s horns. I want more options. I’m not sure what human and norn females have for third options, but they should get something too.

you mean tattoos/beards/horns/biolum/markings? the, you know, actual unique racial things that you can pick at creation, but that makeover kits offer NOTHING new on? i would kill for kit-exclusive horns and fur colors to match hair colors (neon blue tiger anyone?) or exclusive biolum patterns, or something cool kitten

I was just thinking the same thing today while fiddling around with one of my characters — and I’m a woman, by the way, and do agree that we are having an issue here. For a lack of beard options, my thief is sporting the same “half-beard” (the decent one that doesn’t cover too much of the face) as my ranger. Why? Because I didn’t want stubbles nor a Santa Clause beard. But I did want him to have a beard, so… Yes, more beards, please! And not too crazy, like many of the ugly haircuts, thanks.

I can get behind this. Anything to make my Human Engineer look more like this:

I was really only thinking in terms of the heads. Beards, Horns and Ears. Female Humans and Norn would need something too, though I can’t be certain what that should be.

Tattoos are a norn thing, though, so giving them to the women, but only giving the men beards would be lame, and if the norn also got tattoos, now that’s four things just for male norn… It gets complicated.

Again I was focusing exclusively on heads, since that’s where the beard choice is, along with most of the other stuff. So I was thinking something related to heads.

Tattoos are a little overrated, since they usually are covered by armor. Maybe the kit should focus on facial tattoos. Asura ears couldve piercings, unique horns are easy. Humans could have beards, or facial jewelry like indians and egyptians wear

if ya introduce cowboy hats, please don’t elminate the facial hair when your wearing it like some hat. I need my macho man rp looks!

Hm…true. I wish Braham’s helm would let me keep my face and beard.
