Stop merging parties in LFG
If the LFG tool is really kicking people from your party, I’m sure this is a bug and should be reported as such in the bug forums.

It was reported and was acknowledged by Anet, this thread is more of a PSA.
I like the idea of the “agree-to-merge-button”
Get rid of merging. It serves no purpose other than destroy instance. If you want to join a new party, leave your current one then join.
Merging is a good idea before you’ve started.
There’s been quite a few times when me and 2 or 3 guild members form a party then use the LFG tool to fill the empty spaces, then see another group looking to do the same thing, also with 2-3 people. The ability to merge the parties saves a lot of hassle in that situation because otherwise everyone from one group would have to leave and individually join the other one.
But I agree that if the merged party would have too many people in then it shouldn’t let you merge the groups, and if one/both groups are already part-way through the instance it should either not let you merge or ask which group should move to the other groups location.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Why can’t you just get rid of merging until it’s done well? It is quite annoying to be everyday merged…
Please add button: “I allow to merge my party” or something.
And please remove the kicking from dungeon when the “leader” is kicked or reloged. What purpose does this have anyway?
Please add button: “I allow to merge my party” or something.
Should this be added to the long list of buttons, menus and checkboxes that only several people want to be added to the tool? Sure, let’s add like 20 buttons to it, that’s gonna make it better…
Wait for them to improve the current merge options, or simply don’t use the tool if you don’t want to be merged with.

Empowering player choice is generally a good idea in game design, not a bad one.
