Stop the selling of instanced things
People have been selling dungeons, runs and other services since Guild Wars 1 days. ANet has said they’re ok with it.
ANet may give it to you.
Please do something against these, sell SAB tm, sell dungeon, sell raid 5g 10g etc. things…
It’s disgusting, unfair, and it has a high chance of scam…And before someone who knows everything comments, no I didn’t get scammed or anything, it’s just annoying to see all these in LFG…
As mentioned, this has and was always a part of guild wars. Now not sure what arenanets stance on SAB is, since it seems people are joining where they technically should not be able to join, but dungeons and other instances getting run is fine.
Please do elaborate how it’s unfair that someone compeltely unrelated to you:
- invests time into mastering an aspect of the game
- then sells this aspect to others willing to pay him for his time
Unless the selling person exploits or abuses some kind of shady pratice, what do you care? Stop worring about what and how others enjoy the game.

And if the person is scammed, they lose their money. Mind you the person who is scamming also gets reported and dealt with. So say someone loses 5g, not that awful, but is it worth getting banned over 5g?
It’s legal to sell runs like that on the LFG. However, using that SAB exploit probably isn’t legal, so that particular case is different from your typical raid/dungeon/fractals sells.
The SAB ‘bug’ allowing players to sell spots in Tribulation Mode is ‘legal’ until further notice:

Selling other instance (story/dungeon) runs has always been ‘legal’. (See Sticky above.)
Good luck.

Are you annoyed that it clutters LFG? Or do object on principle to people selling paths?
If it’s the first, I agree: ANet should admit that people do it, offer a filter for it in LFG (show|don’t show people selling paths, with appropriate warnings that ANet won’t guarantee your money), and generally clean up LFG so it’s a better fit for its actual usage.
If it’s the second, I can’t disagree more. As others have said, people having been offering services like these in MMOs since the beginning. I don’t see any reason that ANet should try to force people to change that.
And it really, really does not matter. /shrug
I think RNG when you’re trying to upgrade item would be worst payment system.
And if these RNG item effect pvp system is worst of worst thing.
By the way payment system may not over 100 dollar in onetime check
than I think it is fair price.
And Guild Wars 2 did not payment in onetime over 100 dollar.
(It is consideration about many years ago package game’s price was 30~40dollar
but it is now 2016.)
Sorry for my unfluently english grammer. I’m foreign and we don’t have
our language’s server in our country.

I think f2p payment games are all worst games. But this game is b2p.
Arenanet don’t do that SWTOR likes payment I think. They are failed so do that f2p.
This game is made by Arenanet but it is also NCsoft’s game.
So it can be selling of instanced things, than many people
(buying game 99 dollar or other fair price people)
will be dislike and feeling throw their money into garbage can.
They did not buying SWTOR likes failed game.

Anet stated that they are okay with SAB selling but they are working on a fix. Furthermore if i’ve known of this before doing the weapon collection i probably would have sold some. Why are you to be punished when you excel at actual content in the game rather than market flipping?
If Arenanet sales instanced things than the last of fair price mmo will be world of warcraft or ultima online.

They are okay with it now because it doesn’t impact the economy. If players were making loot directly from this it sure would have been declared forbidden with slap downs incoming. But since it doesn’t, just some players getting a reward they didn’t deserve by paying someone to let them get it, it’s Okay for now and if it gets fixed before SAB goes away, not all that important, to ANet. Makes the reward pointless as a badge of skill for the rest of us.
RIP City of Heroes
