Stop with the daily updates!
So botters only have to deal with one reset per week? No. They should randomly shuffle nodes every night at 0:00 GMT.
You’re whining over this? Though I’m very negative about changes anet makes here and there, updates are done with the intent of improving the game.
Updates done frequently is supposed to improve the game.
Yet…. You should apply your sig to yourself, “The breath of fresh common sense everyone needs around here” and take a walk.
Yet is too many updates too much? It seems they find a new bug with each new content and then 4 more when you fix every single one. I think eventually it has to stop no? It resets not just nodes but bosses and siege in WvW. Everything gets wiped clean.
I’m mostly asking for more due diligence here.
I also have to farm enough Ori to make my two gifts of metal on top of making a certain item that sells very well on the TP to fund my legendary. Doing COF over and over is not going to get me 200 icy lodes stones.
Its as they say, “Time is money.” in our case, “Time is gold.”
The nodes don’t shuffle by accident, they are set up to work that way. This is intentional, and the fact that you don’t like it doesn’t invalidate the reasons why they do it.
I know they are set up that way. That not the complete point here! Its the fact that they need too many patches to keep the game running right instead of right the first time. New content is fine, I have no problem with new content. But a single patch to fix four bugs which aren’t even that game breaking (not one of those from the past two updates I encountered) should not even exist! There shouldn’t be any bad bugs at all with content coming from a reputable company such as Anet.
The endless patching for small errors in code only annoy players who need the Ori for their legendary weapons or exotic crafted gear. Them changing every day is not helping anyone and won’t help the economy anyways, as its too small of an effect.
Bots are going to keep botting. They can data mine and find the nodes anyhow.

Bug fixes can cause further bugs, this is a known problem when programming even for those who are experts in their field. It just happens, and they fix it the moment they have a fix. You are complaining about the customer support being too good at their job. gg
One small error in coding is a big deal when its linked to so many other codes. Just “letting it go” for a while can cause far more harm than good.

It’s mathematically impossible to tell whether code is 100% bugless or not, especially if that code is just a rather small part of a big program.

A lot of bugs don’t occur until the game goes on the live server. For example this last patch fixed some problems with the new dungeon. Maybe they shouldn’t update that and allow people who want to do the new dungeon to miss it.
It’s not all about you, OP. If it’s such an inconvenience, take a day off from finding the Orc. It really is that simple.
You’re still complaining about something that is not a problem. It’s an inconvenience for YOU but the entire game is not built and maintained just for you. They are doing what is best for the game and the community as a whole, and that’s not going to change.
