Sort of Zerker war here – I just got kicked out of a group because I have a knight’s chest and legs because I’m incompetent and having a little bit of defense makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Everything else on me is exotic zerker. Groups usually don’t mind, but I was kind of kitten so I went to join a normal group. After waiting two minutes camping on gw2lfg, I found a non-speed run group.

I joined it, did p1, was a bit slower but I didn’t care. We did p2 – it was meh, but when we got to the final boss, it was kittening uncoordinated as hell. Every time I’d call “kill”, I’d kill my acolyte and somebody else would kill theirs. Then the other two would just stay up for a minute before dying, and then our acolytes respawn. I kitten you not, in ten minutes it was barely below half health.

For the entire dungeon, I was silent. I decided then to crack a joke, “Geez, are you guys all pvt or something”, somebody else responded “Stfu, you can leave”, and I said “Woah, touchy much”, said person responded again with “Yes, I’m in a kitteny mood” and I was kicked.

I’m kind of kitten . The kick function needs refinement and people are kitten. Okay, I’m done.

Frustration can run high in a dungeon. Especially in COF where everyone is constantly screaming for zerker warriors and gear pings.

Next time, I recommend saying something like “this doesn’t seems to be working, does anyone have a recommendation?”

Just leave and laugh at the “Zerker” Warrior who is downed 95% of the time doing no damage. I’ll take a Warrior with 2500 armor and 22K HP over some “DPS!” scrub any day.

The moral of your own story is don’t be condescending to people and they won’t get annoyed and kick you.

I have nothing to say about the story.

I will say that silence becomes a barrier between people the longer keep it up.

Uhm, why? Just help kill the other acolytes if you’re done with yours.

Anyways it’s strange you did bring your gear up as it clearly had nothing to do with the kick. My war has 3k+ armor and I have never been kicked.

Just for the record, I probably would’ve votes yes to kick you.

zerker warriors are effective if you know how to run it, just like any other zerker class. However, most people don’t know how to run zerker classes propery (i.e extremely low survivability) and causes more issue then it gains. However, the problem with you lies with that you were silent the whole time and then suddenly offered non constructive condescending remarks. Sure the group shouldn’t have been 12 yr old kids and kicked you just for that, but if you’re going to be one of those people who don’t communicate throughout the group, you either stick to it, or offer constructive feedback to the group throughout.

they would kick me, then invite me just to kick me again.

seriously tho, half of PUGs i ever was in kicked at least one guy after a wipe…if the party has found a scapegoat for their failure (in GW2, one individual does not simply trigger a wipe) they’ll kick him/her.
and with your behavior, you were kinda asking for it…i mean it’s the risk you take when going with a PUG.

Honestly, the remark was barely a scratch. Even with silence, I’d probably just joke about my explorer’s gear (not that I have any).

If the group was talking, explaining and strategizing (basically socializing) I doubt the others in the group would care what you called their gear. But it’s the ‘being a stranger’ part that is likely the culprit here.

They felt the need to buff/change AC so a CoF buff is definitely coming in the near future.

Actually berserk builds do very well in any situation as long as the player knows how to dodge.

so when did the gear you had on have anything to do with you being kicked?

As for OP:
I kinda think you got lucky to leave that group. I mean there was clearly something wrong there. Not that I approve your remarks. And I agree on “be constructive or be silent”.

How about just not tell them what gear you have and what damage you’re doing? It’s not like they have any way to check.

and? you want a prize? Around 90% of the ppl that do cof speedrun dont know how to use the class. They just “follow” a guide and wait for profit.
I never need to farm cof for make money. I actually have 700+ gold. I surely can do more gold “playing” than the ppl that do the “BurnBrain” cof speedrun.
And, at last. I said: all “handless” zerker warriors…. Your really felt “handless” ? If not, why you answer me?

Instead of acting like a condescending kitten why not help your group out with some friendly advice? Not everybody is going to be experts at running fractals and if you join a random group you need to be aware of this. I’ve had a lot of beginners in my groups but I’d much rather deal with that than some armchair general screaming at everyone and making the group morale plummet.

Well, I was kicked too a few moments ago. From 26 lvl fractal (3rd part in fact). Other 2 guys were kicked too. By two heavy armoured noobs, who ran in circles swinging swords and didn’t stick to the plan. The funny part is, they kicked the one who opened the dungeon, so no loot for them too
We were actualy really helpful, told them what they needed to do (the part on dredge fractal were u have to stand on buttons and open doors), but they were still doing their brainless stuff…
The problem is, that 3 polite guys, who basically carried 2 noobs trough 2 fractals (one of them with fire shaman) were kicked out of dungeon by them.
So, I agree with what “The kick function needs refinement” part

Morale of story is – if you want to complain about getting kicked, do so with the proper reasons instead of trying to cover all the bases.
