Perhaps I don’t understand exactly how events occur, but about a month ago I was in the straight of devastation leveling another character. The event rate was awesome, they were flowing, rhythmic and I enjoyed the process of leveling most in this area. Today I have been here all day with another character and the area is slow, uneventful and I have seen a much, much smaller event happenings. Did they make changes to the area? Is it based upon population? I am curious why there are so few events in this area.

There’s a major event chain in the Straits, that has to do with the taking of the Temple of Balthazar. Really the whole zone is about that.

The text on your screen shows you what stage that event is up to. It’s starts near Fort Trinity and goes all the way to the temple.

If you caught that chain along the way last time, you were moving through a huge event chain that I consider one of the best in the game.

There are other events as well, but that’s the major one.

Look to see what the side text says and go to the area to pick the chain up.

Also, many people who normally do events in Orr are currently leveling their lumberjack skill instead of doing events.
