Hello,

I’d like to suggest a mystic forge feature that would make it less tedious. For example if I choose to mystic forge charged cores into a charged lodestone, I must double click or drag all four items every single time. This gets extremely tedious when you need to 100 charged lodestones. This goes for many other mystic forge recipes. I understand perhaps if they wanted you to feel like it’s part of that end game grind for your legendaries or something like that, but personally I just find it something that can better the quality of life for frequent Mystic Forgers’. Similar to how a recent update allowed for vendor items to be purchased in bulk easily by being able to select how many times you wanted said item.

Thanks for your time,

Yep, also an issue with promoting fine mats. Would like to load the slots and spam the forge button until I need to reload a slot.

Yep, it would be good if it worked similar to crafting. Once you have unlocked a recipe you just have to select it from a list. Probably not a quick one to implement though. An alternative might be to let you drag stacks of stuff onto the existing screen and have the option of forging however many things at once.

The crafting ui would be indeed a godsend for Forge. The current UI would stay as the “discovery” pane, but a list of unlocked recipes (with the ability to select quantity of items to be forged) is a necessity.

Our mouse buttons cry for deliverance. Do not let those cries be unheard.

I’m glad most people agree with me so far. Feel like I’m going to get carpal tunnel clicking on my mouse that much.

Anything to improve the mystic forge would be appreciated.

No, but there has been mention of a work to improve the forge in a non-specific sense. It slipped out when they accidentally patched in some forge recipes for halloween items. Maybe this will be part of the wider update when it is complete.

Heh on the other hand the crafting UI is in need of its own improvement though it is mostly a problem with scribing and to a lesser degree cooking.

The discovery interface in general needs help. For cooking it’s a nightmare as you have to sit there trying every possible combinations of hundreds of items.

I don’t see much issue with the discovery part since you are supposed to be trying different stuff to figure things out and it is a one time thing. Also you can always just look up the full list if you want.

What I’d also like to see is a ‘funnel’ type addition where you can just put 250 × 4 into it and have the net results get shot out. Example 250 crystals x 4 hit ‘churn’ or whatever and get X orbs, Y crests and Z crystals back. Would be AMAZING and also get rid of some of the excess mats on the TP.

Speaking only on the discovery pane in crafting, it’s a pain that it’s such a narrow ..uh.. pane. Especially with cooking, there are so many ingredients they scroll off the bottom of the pane. Whereas the right-hand pane where the four ingredients are displayed is a huge waste of space.
