My bad, I should’ve done a more recent search. I only knew about the closed thread a few months ago.
Still after reading the more recent thread, this all seems quite suspect. If it was a bug, why were the animations of other genders/races not nerfed as well?
It appears the official response is being less than truthful …
Don’t bring it back. Why people want their arms clipping into their brains? Also the stretched texture around the armpits, ew. It was very ugly.
Because animations bring life to characters, and it also gives them differential personalities. Imagine if asura had their idle animations removed, the one where they scratch their head or cross their arms. Idle animations give them life.
