Guild Wars 2

I just bought this game and decided to check out it out. I planned on playing with a friend but could not get ahold of him and wanted to make a character. So I choose a randome homeworld to create my character on, planning to make another on his homeworld later.

Now for some reason I cannot make another character on his homeworld? This is pretty rediculious? Unless I am missing something.

All other MMO’s i’ve played allowed you to choose your realm for each character.

Because of WvW it would be exploitable to have toons on other servers.

However, you can transfer servers free once every 7 days.

Homeworld is accountwide. Its been like this since release.

As others have said, there is good reason why you can’t have different toons on different servers. That said, you and your buddy need to improve your communication
