I havent played for a while and i was looking at the styles in the Black Lion Trading Co.

Do they only work in town or will they still work (be visible) when i’m leveling out in the world?

There are two types of apparel, outfits and armor.

Armor is obviously visible everywhere, outfits are like skins that go over your armor. You can toggle these outfits on/off and while they are on they are permanently visible (yes even in combat).
