[Sug] Salvage kits that wont remove runes
How about selectable options in options menu:
[] Mark uncommon runes and sigils as trash items
[] Mark rare runes and sigils as trash items
Granted, the other problem with green runes and sigils is that they don’t stack like trash items, causing a few different ones to clutter your inventory very easily.
I also have a BIG gripe about all the runes and sigils in the Inventory.
Mark as junk or auto delete options would work wonders.
Yes, I do salvage all the greens and blue for the mf, but then I sit with an inventory full of worthless runes/sigils.

I included this, not as an option, but as a feature, in one of my suggestions just the other day. I want them to consolidate all equipment drops (common to rare) into salvageable containers (so that at max, you may have about 4 inventory slots used for all of your equipment drops, unless a map has a certain type that drops, then that’s more salvageable containers). And then if you salvage the unopened container, the game picks a random item type to salvage and gives you the appropriate drops from it, but if it’s unopened, it wont give any sigils/runes.
I would love to see just a simple gameplay option (and really, the game needs a lot more options to help manage inventory stuff) to delete certain tiers of sigils/runes on salvage-looting, but if they really wanted to be good, they could add mine and knock out 2 issues at once – rune/sigil spam, and inventory clogging with tons of equipment drops.
marking as junk doesnt help during dungeons/fractal runs where you dont have access to a merchant all the time
your inventory still gets overfilled with them
the only solution is to add an option to NOT salvage the upgrades on the infinite salvage kits
(or maybe a merchant that exchange the infinite kit that you have for a version that is the same just without saving upgrades)

I think they would profit a lot more if they added a special salvage-o-matic to the gem store that wont remove runes/sigils than by selling merchant expresses.
I’m pretty sure the market for a merchant express is pretty slim.

I can’t imagine that they see much of an income related to people buying those. Those are one of the things you get most often from achievement point chests, black lion login dailies, random personal story rewards, and black lion chests. A better example would be Inventory Bag Slots or Bank Tabs.
