Guild Wars 2

You can pick your background heritage VIA the sister option on human story, and once you’ve picked it it’s never mentioned again. This is stupid but not remembering it is kind of irritating me and the notes on it are nowhere to be seen.

I know your choice influences your sister’s looks, but the funny thing is I can’t remember her anymore either. Could she show up in your Home instance or something? You think your sister would be a little more involved with your life, even if she has her own.

She does appear in a story arc of chapter 8 of living story. I think its if you choose to take the tanks into orr as she has joined the vigil so shes part of the pact now.

I agree she could be used more though.

She could become a general NPC in the scope of guild wars 2, even if she isn’t related to the PC (and she could have an extra line of dialogue or two for those who ARE related to her).

Even just getting some mail from her every so often would be a nice touch, and make it feel like you actually have a family.

If Faren can be a reoccurring character, Deborah should be too.

She appears in the Vigil path (the tanks) in the last part of the personal story, though she’s buggy and doesn’t use the proper model until The Steel Tide.

You’d think human characters would want to know the fate of Deborah – especially since the last we heard of her, she was taking responsibility for Tactician Beirne’s family. They were implied to be on a farm outside of Divinities Reach… which has since been raided by White Mantle.

But, given what happened to Demmi, I’m somewhat glad she didn’t turn up in the episode… but it would be nice to have more nods to personal story.

I was disappointed she never got added to the home instance for characters who did that storyline.

I didn’t know she appeared in the Vigil’s invading Orr story until after my human character had done it. So I picked the Whisper’s plan on her and never saw Deborah.

It would be nice to see her again. Either in the story or simply in your home instance.
