TBH, it feels like your LFG is pulled right out of EverQuest.

so here goes:

1. make everyone in LFG appear in LFG no matter what zone they’re in. right now it’s separated by zone which does not make sense, and it doesn’t work very well.

2. make it cross server(yea yea, i know what ravings are gonna follow with this one, but between the soon to come guesting and the fact that you can already run dungeons cross server in guild wars 2 there’s no downside and there need be NO discussion about this point in any way. GW2 already has cross server dungeon grouping…it just needs a better tool.

3. make categories for content type(events, map completion, dungeon(have specific dungeon listings).

4. the vastly overwhelming majority of GW2 players don’t even know a form of LFG tool exists, i have never seen more than six names in LFG and everyone spams chat. the tool is extremely primitive, and i would like to see improvements. i do not call for the instant group matchmaking and teleporting tool of WoW. not that i have any strong feelings about it either way, it’s just not necessary.

Just copy the one in DDO. For six years that game has had the perfect LFG tool, but for some reason it has not been copied anywhere.

Dilbon can you expand on why DDO’s LFG tool is so great?

I think they should just use the sPvP queue for dungeons. Each dungeon informant should let you queue for the dungeon just like an sPvP match. IT would work really well since there are no tanks or healers.
