Why are Commander tags not account bound? (Like Armors will be soon etc.) People say its becouse you expect to the see same commander day-in and day-out, In my opinion, they should just Display the commander’s account Name (Like mine is Ima KongkittenNinja.3052) that way commanders don’t have to play on the same character day after day, they can expand, and enjoy different professions more. Also to get a commander tag, I think it should cost 10k Badges of Honor, instead of 100g, (or 5k badges and 20g.) I feel that it would make it so if you see someone in WvW who has a tag, you can know they are experienced. Anyone else think this should be implemented?

Yeah but look at the People that have dual Incinerators, Quips, Bolt, Frostfang, etc.
Everything comes with a Price, as for this I’d be fine with that! lol

Expect this in the 2016 Feature Patch.

Really good idea about Commander tags being based on badges of honor rather than gold. Perhaps a mixture, though? Maybe 50g + 2000 badges of honor?

And yeah, I’d definitely like that.

I just hope this isn’t just read and moved on. Really, really hope it gets implemented some time in the future!

I would like for there to be several types of commander tags .

In WvW the tag we have works great, but yes give it the option to be account bound and for those who bought multiple already, just give them a refund for each extra tag. Also being able to put gold with a badges of honor would not hold as much meaning as what rank the person is, because badges can be farmed without having any experience of leadership involved. That is not to say that rank can not be farmed as well, because it can. Earning higher rank is more difficult than running the JP for badges.
Also add havok tags for smaller groups that can break off from the main commander to take objectives at his discretion. These Will Not be bought, but instead given to someone by a leading commander in his squad. He/she may then right click person giving them the tag and asking for volunteers to follow and take what ever objective needed.

High ranking Guild members should have the ability to buy a guild only tag that only guild members can see that can be bought for coin and commendations.

Havoc tags, would be amazing! As for the Rank Thing – that seems like it could be done, I think just make it so once the player reaches X rank, they should be able to access the tag without getting votes.

The reason Commander tags cost so much in the first place is because they wanted only the most dedicated of players to have a Blue Nacho. There for, they are also soulbound instead of accountbound, because you should be dedicated to earn it on other characters.
