I think an additional inventory bag would be handy.
Specifically a bag is interaccount. If you put something inside that specific bag, it will directly also exist on all other characters you have with that bag.

I think it would be really handy for things as infinite cat potions or similar. Soul bound items could be allowed in the bag, but should still not work to be used as normal of course.

You don’t always have access to your bank

I could see this being pretty handy, it would have to be very limited in space to work though, maybe a 4-5 slot.

For the sake of balance vs convenience, you would have to purchase /grind to get one for each character that you want to use it.

Then again it makes bank access items useless

Come to think of it No I only need 1 slot… just my bank contract… done.

If it was an account wide bag slot upgrade I would buy that for gems. That ranks up there with the bank slot and character slot upgrades.

This is pretty much it.
Also, arenanet wont do this because it will reduce teh need to buy merchant/TP/bank access items from the black lion company.

Even though it would be really handy, I dont think it’s a good idea as we’ve been doing fine for the past 3 years. If anyone wonders, yes, I do sometimes have to transfer all of my stuff from 1 char to the other.
