[Suggestion] Account bound bag
Doesn’t the bank express item from the gem store do this anyway in a roundabout way?
The gem store bank is a 14 day item and is not perminant. There is one from the black lion chests. But is a physical item that only is usable by 1 character. If i want to swap from warrior to guardian in a fractal i would have to use this item to put gear in the bqnk, swap characters, go to a bank on my alt, swap gear and then afterwards put it back. After 10-15 times doing this i basically gave up on swapping my gear due to the hassle. If you leave instruments in your bank you can only acsess them with the character that has the bank acsess. Im suggesting 1 bag slot i character’s inventory being accessable for all characters, so swapping gear and instruments would be seamless. Keep in mind this does not de-value the bank acsess, it mainly is a quality of life perk.
No – you ALREADY have a bank for this. Just use a bank item from the Tp.
WOW – people whine about so much stuff – wouldn’t this kitten the game too much?

I think people are complaining about the too expensive part.
that being said, they are probably charging you the bags for every character you have even if they implemented it.
I think part of the reason they won’t be inclined to oblige your request is that an account bag would reduce demand for multiple copies of the unlimited use tools.
The introduction of such a bag would require an increase in the tool price to offset the decreased demand.
how about make the 2 week bank golem summonable by every character. That being said I dont’ know how many people want to pay 50 gold or 12$ every month just for a summonalbe golem.
someone mentioned the vip service a while ago.
I have 24 character atm. 9 of them have permanent bank license. The rest, I just teleport to town if I need anything to be honest. It only take 30 second.

Not necessarily. The wardrobe update guaranteed that no one would ever want more than 1 copy of an outfit and they didn’t raise the prices of them when that came out. In fact they offered refunds to anyone who had more than one, or anyone who didn’t like the way they worked after the change and some of them have been on sale since then.
Having said that I can’t see them adding account bound bags, just because as everyone else pointed out the benefits are relatively minimal so it’s probably not worth the time and effort to program when the people involved could be doing something else instead.

The Wardrobe feature probably increased revenue though by increasing demand for Transmutation Charges and may have also increased the number of Gem Store skin transactions now that they are more “valuable” (i.e. it is possible that by making the skins accountwide, more people are interested in buying skins which may have offset the number of people who no longer need to buy multiples of the same skin).
This is another topic that is quickly becoming beaten to death:

As I’ve said before, while an account bound bag slot would be nice, it would make things too easy for people. It would also reduce the incentive to purchase certain gemstore items. As such, it’ll never happen.
there is that permanent bank license for 800 gold on the TP.
and there is a permanent hair for sell atm too 4999 gold.

so 800 g each for a bank on all 8 characters .. hmm ..

I think the opposite is true, and I think ANet realise this. Infinite tools used to be soulbound, and people argued that being account bound would make them less in demand. On the contrary, people just didn’t buy the soulbound versions because they weren’t worth it. Account bound tools are better, but still people hold off because they are too much hassle.
ANet have more data on this, so I am only speculating. The question is, do the people who buy multiple copies of tools buy enough to counter the number of people who would buy one copy that all their characters can use.
The additional question is whether making customers feel like they’re being valued and given a good deal, and the positive word of mouth that encourages, is worth any slight loss in sales of that specific item.
To me, an account wide bag (I think 4-6 slots is fair) for a reasonable amount of gems or even free, with additional account wide slots available in the gem store would bring in a HUGE amount of money, and would lead to the sale of more things like gathering tools, instruments and minis etc. that people would put in those slots.

You are leaving out the part where they already raised the price of the tools because they knew that demand would decrease.
They would have to raise the price again in order to offset the lost revenue that comes along with making swapping the tools super easy.
i assumed it to be possible to put a bag from an inventory slot, into your inventory, then to your bank, transfer it this way to another character, replace it in a inventory slot and all items in this bag where moved along. (use a bag as a container)
i was very surprised that didn’t work.
that would be neat!
