Someone say game crash must be related to OOM
when you read the log it’s not related to that whatsoever…
Please add a option to disable the spinning death camera, it’s too annoying with clipping into objects all the time.

Oh right, thanks for bringing that up. A long time ago we asked and asked and asked for a steady death cam. They gave it to us! And much was the rejoicing thereby.
I was surprised and sickened when running a dungeon recently to find that old spin had returned. Literally sickened, spinning stuff on monitors makes me queasy. (So do ceiling fans, to my husband’s dismay, but ANet can’t block out our family room fan for me. More’s the pity).
Please fix this, ANet.

I hadn’t realised the spinning death cam was a thing until I died recently. I joined when the cam was still so it took me by complete surprise. Adding another +1 to the “makes me queasy” crowd.
+1 for making it optional. This is not a matter of opinion issue, btw: when I did not make it to the end in a fractal, I was dead in a place where from I could see the final boss fight, but the camera spinned away repeatedly and I could not actually see and learn how to deal the boss.
Yep, this was so bad it was removed. Now it’s back. It needs to go, again.
As a side note, it’d also be nice if the death camera remembered the max fov/zoom you could have when you were alive, so that if you’re dead on a boss where both of those values increase (say, lupi), you don’t revert to a kittentier-fov kittentier-zoom camera when dead.
That’s probably way too much to ask, though. Just (re)fix the camera rotating and tilting on its own when dead. Please. This alone could take until 2032 at the pace ANET works…
I remember this was fixed a loooooong time ago. I noticed it in a fractal the other day, and I can easily say that while it is a small thing, it sends me flying into a blind rage. Please revert this change.
