Suggestion : Add more collections
Dye Collector: unlock all dyes available at release
Reward: a random non-release dye? Or choice from a list (not all dyes available)
I wouldn’t add a “collect all dyes” collection because new dyes are added constantly, so it makes sense to limit it to release dyes only.
Cultural Armor : All 45 set of armors.
Dye Collection : They could divide it in 3 collection. One for all Common/Uncommon, one for all standard Rare and one of all exclusive dye.
Weapons Set Collections : There is around 50 Weapons set that doesn’t have any collection about them.
Legendary weapons collections : Not much people would go for that one, but it could give some epic reward. I would hope it include a kitten title.
Tonic : There is a lot of tonic but right now they can’t because a lot of them are not account bound on use. Ideally, they could create a new system a bit like that they did with Minis for the tonics.
Ascended Trinkets : Would be costly, but it would give a nice sink for laurels, guild recommendation, fractals, etc. It wouldn’t be a waste anymore since you could then salvage the useless ascended trinkets.
Dye Collection : They could divide it in 3 collection. One for all Common/Uncommon, one for all standard Rare and one of all exclusive dye.
They could also add in ones for each dye set like
Flame Dye Collector
- Collected all dyes in the Flame set
Frost Dye Collector

Ya maybe it would be better. A bit like Black Lion weapons collection. That way you can add more of them as they put more different dye in the game.

Yes yes yes! More collections! I need to satisfy my inner skritt! Here are my lengthy suggestions, sorry if they’ve already been mentioned by the time I post this.
Basic Collection: Priory’s Cataloguer: Collect all 19 Priory weapons and 18 Priory skins.
Reward: 3 AP (set at the same intervals as dungeon collections) and a unique Priory-designed back-piece skin- a homage to knowledge.
Basic Collection: Whispers’ Plunderer: Collect all 19 Whispers weapons and 18 Whispers skins.
Reward: 3 AP (set at the same intervals as dungeon collections) and a unique Whisper’s back-piece skin- a tribute to cunning.
Basic Collection: Vigil’s Supporter: Collect all 19 Vigil weapons and 18 Vigil skins.
Reward: 3 AP (set at the same intervals as dungeon collections) and a unique Vigil-designed back-piece skin- an honour to strength.
Basic Collection: Pact Procurer: Collect all 19 Pact Weapons.
Reward: 2 AP and some form of small loot and token “Pact Badge” (unlocks following “Pact Champion” achievement)
Rare Collection: Pact Champion: Collect all 3 unique order backpieces (see above) and the Pact Badge.
Reward: 5 AP, Title “Pact Champion” (or similar), “Pact Amulet” (defined stats, similar to the ascended rewards from completing the dungeon skin collections).
(The final stage and “trophy” for collecting all Vigil, Whispers, Priory and Pact skins).
Rare Collection: Acolyte of Grenth: Collect Signet of Grenth, Tear of Grenth, Shadow of Grenth (generally much in concept and reward like http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Acolyte_of_Dwayna)
The same could be applied to all the other remaining gods, although more items/weapons skins would need to be made to fit the bill
Rare Collection: Mist Wielder: Unlock all phantasmal weapons (Abyssal Scepter, Ignus Fatuus, Ilya/Lyss/Chaos Gun, Reaver of the Mists, Urchin’s Needles, Vision of the Mists, Wall of the Mists, Whisperblade). Similar to the current “Spirit Crafter”.
Reward: Purple phantasmal backpiece, 20 AP
Rare Collection: Conjured Crafter: Unlock all conjured weapons (Cragstone, Mjölnir, Titans’ Vengeance, Volcanus, Wintersbark, Wintersbite). Similar to the current “Spirit Crafter”.
Reward: Elemental backpiece, 20 AP.
Rare Collection: Ascended Brandisher: Unlock one of each ascended weapon (19 total).
Reward: 50 AP total, Exotic Weapon Crate containing a random exotic (from the same pool as the “Exotic Hunter” weapons).
(This is probably the simplest way of making such an achievement, without delving into different achievements for every colour variation).
Note: We do already have an achievement for collecting different types of champ bags (and different rarities), but the unlock item doesn’t exist- it is bugged. It would be nice to have a collection achievement for opening all the different normal bags that drop from mobs though.

Yes- although I think it would be great to get bonus goodies for spending 3x the amount than “necessary” to unlock all the cultural armours.
I think one of the functions of such achievements is to bring further incentive to these NPC purchases, which can act as a gold sink.
lets not add more collections since they where simply a way to rehash old content and keep us busy re running dungeons and killing world bosses we had already killed hundreds of times in the past for rewards that just where not worth the effort/cost involved to finish them
and lets not forget how buggy those collections are and despite multiple threads complaining about broken spawns and event chains
and your telling me you want more of this stuff ?
mebey if it was implemented in HoT instead of designed around old boring as kitten content Ive done a billion times already but my guess is even if it is in HoT they will mess that up as well and spend 2 years NOT fixing it just like these collections
ps ive done ALL colections and no they are not worth it
So many possibilities. But this seems like one of those systems that was designed to be scalable but was never scaled up. Probably get a hand full in HoT (beyond the legendary collections of course). But I’m not sure if they’ll add collections for present in-game items.

Two things.
1) It’s not because YOU don’t like collection that other don’t like them. I love collection and i’m know alone. I’m not a fan of WvW, but I would still love more WvW content because this improve the game overall.
2) Collection is like the easiest thing to add. Do you really thing that anet will have a choice to make between make a douzen of collection and create 12 new dungeons or something? Collection are a super cheap way to create thing to do for players. Yes it’s not proper content and they shouldn’t be a redeeming factor for a lackluster expansion (hopefull not), but it’s foolish to think that it will took over much resources that would otherwise create great thing.
I like just about every one of these collection suggestions. Having questable goals like this brought me back to the game after almost a year off, and is keeping me on while I wait for HoT.

I know this has been already suggested but I would like to see a Collection Achievement Implemented for collecting all of the Conjured Elementalist Weapons like Mjolnir, Volcanus, Wintersbite, Wintersbark, Cragstone, and Titan’s Vengence.
I mean there is already a Spirit Weapon collection (which I completed) so I would like there to be a achievement for the Elementalist weapons as well.
Preferably I would like a title like “Conjurer” but a cool back skin or nothing at all is fine. I just want to be rewarded for my hard effort and work is all.

why in the world honestly do we need any more collection,s stuff . then we got right now . plus if you add these things to the collotion,s . it takes a player a whole lot of not need work for any thing new like that to be add to this game . i say leave it like it is just fine

Mjölnir is only expensive because it requires 350 charged lodestones, (equating to 1,100g straight away).
The others require less (and cheaper) items to craft them.
Simply put, if A-net fixed the drop rate of charged lodestones (so they matched that of the other ones) and put easier methods of obtaining them*, the price wouldn’t be so steep.
Also, in addition to all of this, I sincerely doubt that the price would sky-rocket up because people are looking to spend 2,000g+ for an achievement. If anything, the price alone should warrant that obtaining the group gives an achievement- people get plenty of achis for spending far less (e.g. legendary weapons, exotic hunter, cultural armour).
*I’m thinking those map rewards would be a good place to put them.
I’m also a skritt at heart. Yes to more collections!! Great ideas listed above. Giving us more options on how to play is a good thing. #justsaying
