[Suggestion] Add option to switch off graphical fluff
I just want an option to turn off the damage numbers… never had any response on my threads though…
That would be awesome. When I play with player models to minimum I dont want to see their flashy weapons or backpieces. However theres no option to turn them off.
And to turn off the minipets.
And npc/player random voices from skills, buffs and conditions.
Not sure how others mini’s are annoying but I can for sure agree with the npc/player voices, especially the robot back pieces (forgot what their called) when I’m in a zerg for example doing a world boss or something I sometimes just have to mute the game cause how annoying those things are and it’s kinda sad cause I like hearing the action and music during events.
It’s not just the vanity items that pollute, also guardian with their fire and ice effects – good luck fighting something with a guard with twilight in your group – can’t see a thing. And this is why I agree – I’m a squishy melee thief who needs to know when to dodge but with all this clutter I’m not able to see the mobs/bosses anymore.
Yeah a lot of items have effects that make the game incredibly annoying and overloaded.
I have absolutely no idea why these things dont just get standard effects and models just like armors do when you scale down Graphics.
Not sure how others mini’s
That’s why we should be able to hide other ppl minis, you dont mind, I get distracted by them.
Let’s go all the way, and have an option to make GW2 just stick figures

The so-called fluff is not my pet peeve. The graphics I’d like to turn way down or off are the particle spam from spell/attack FX. I’d love to be able to see what I’m attacking when there are more than three players attacking it.
