Guild Wars 2

Lately there seems to have been a lot of new items in the game that wind up being books or lists or things similar. Many of these are items I’d like to hang onto, but which take up a lot of space in my inventory. Some specific examples include:

• [Completed Baby Book] : You get this at the end of Chuka and Chumpawat. I don’t want to spoil it, but it’s pretty darn cool, and I don’t want to discard it now that Chuka is complete.
• Research Journals from Bloodstone Fen : There’s two of these, and for those of us who like the lore, we’d like to keep them.
• [Marjory’s Journal] : An example from a while ago.

It would be really awesome if all of these items could go into a specific wardrobe-like place so we can keep them and yet not have them fill our inventory. I’d be fine if we had to travel to a city to withdraw them or read them, as long as I can keep them without losing space.

Another idea is an item for your home instance that is essentially a library where these books could be found. I’d even be fine having to work to get the library (like do a collection achievement or something).

I like the idea of the library for the home instance and propose this could also be a guild hall decoration item to encourage members to collect books from around Tyria to fill it out.

I like this idea, would save some bank space

They really need to add a lore-journal interface somewhere in the Hero panel, which would collect any books you read/find, along with other info on PoI’s and maps and creatures. I’m seen a few examples of them, one on forums (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/I-ve-redesigned-the-UI-the-official-website/first#post4706426) and one by Wooden Potatoes (which I can’t find a link of).
