Just as you are making Gift of Fortune able to revert to their mats, how about making all of the gifts be able to revert to their mats. People often change their minds or make a mistake on which gift they make and are then stuck with a gift they may not use. Anet, please allow us to be able to revert all gifts to make legendary weapons, backpacks, armor and whatever else may come out. People change their minds. I would not think it would be such a bad thing for this type of revert to exist.

Except for gift of mastery, it doesnt need to be undone. But the specific gifts for each legendary, like gift of bolt etc should be able to be returned to its components.

I third this, I have 10 gifts of exploration, and now a few gifts of the fleet or whatever they’re called. I think the explo gifts might be usable by scribe though, so no issue there anymore.
But maybe salvaging them for ecto or dark energy?
