Ever since I’m playing GW2 I felt, that the friendlist lacks overview, in comparison to friendlists of other games. Maybe you could improve it, by implementing the following suggestions.

1. Add a little number beneath the “Contacts and LFG” icon, that shows us at a glance, how many of our friends are online at the moment.

1. Create an own channel for the “XYZ is now online / offline” messages, because as it is now, these messages simply go down in all the loot messages, that use the same channel. Alternatevily, outsource the online/offline messages and transform them to little popups that fade in and out on some edge of the screen.

1. On the “Friends” window, give us the option to hide/unhide every contact that is currently flagged as offline. This would reduce the list a bit and provide a better overview.

1. Also on the “Friends” window, give us the option to attach notes to the various contacts, so that we can manage them better. More than once I have riddled who is who on my list. Notes could help to keep better track. I know, I could use nicknames, but that sometimes does not suffice – besides it blocks away the accountnames.

I hope you will consider these points for upcomming QoL updates.

I like the followers it makes me feel cool and hip.

make /f talk to our friend list instead of being another /w

In addition to other issues noted (for quite a long time now too), I really want:

• ‘Nickname’ to be in its own column that can be sorted.

This would also mean ‘Nickname’ would not overwrite the Display/Account name as requested by others.

I know people mainly by the nicknames I give them instead of by their display/account names or one or more of their dozen+ character names.

Being unable to sort by their nickname and being forced to sort by the current character’s name that they happen to be playing on is silly.
