I always believe that a lot of small things makes a huge difference in a game, even though we may not know it or appreciate it.
- I’ve always wonderes why we’re not using the asura gate behind the zone-portal from Metrica Province to Rata Sum. It makes more sense to use the asura gate than a zone portal here, and it adds better continuity when travelling on foot.

If it’s not too much to ask for, I’d like for this to be changed.

i agree
i loved that original rata sum cinimatic we got pre launch where the camera flys over the entrance gate and then upp into rata sum and assumingly a exit gate

would also be amazing for immersion if we could change all the wierd zone portals to more game/zone related stuff but thats unlikey

id just be happy with the rata sum one being done

The circular blue portals that exists between maps are not actually there in-world, but the Asura gates are. Just pretend that the floating portals aren’t there.

It’s a matter of continuity, which you can’t just “pretend” in order for it to go away.
- WoW (I know, I know… Whooo, the big ol’ boring game, go play that if you want it to be like that) had the clever idea, when you went by ship from one place to another, to give us a map as a loading screen, which would dot our journey over the sea. It helped to keep the immersion, instead of players just having to pretend that part.

I’m also confused as to why there are no lore on the loading screen any more. There was back in the beta, which I think was awesome. Also the point of interests should have some text to them, so we know why they are particularly interesting.
