Suggestion: Auto hide UI
Elder Scrolls Online does this and it took a bit of getting used to buy now I really like it. Your skill bar only appears if you target an enemy or enter combat, the chat box fades out when no one is talking, you can completely clear and hide the quest tracker (equivalent of story/achievements in the top right corner) etc.
Of course you can turn it off if you want, so everything stays on screen (or pick which bits to always show) so everyone can have the setup which suits them.
I imagine it’s a lot of work to set up but it’s a really nice feature.

Any UI improvements are very high on my QoL changes I’d like to see.
This one sounds particularly useful and interesting to me.
I have been actually looking for a Guild Wars 2 mod that would do that xp
but yeah, I would definitely like to have that option. It makes me think of Skyrim O.O
What you’re looking for is Immersive Combat UI. It’s easy to install and has a bunch of support. I got sick of having the entire right hand side of my screen filled with event rubbish so I installed it, and boy oh boy was that the best Halloween of my life.
While personally I haven’t heard of anyone having issues with this mod, just take note that if you do use a third party program to mod gw2, support cannot help you if your account becomes compromised.
So long Treeface.

That would be nice. Also, we should be able to turn off parts of the UI. I have to use “Immersive Combat Mode” to hide the bright, distracting exp bar because it hurts my eyes.

That one!
The only issue I’ve had with it is every so often whenever I press any particular button, ICM decides that that key is now my dodge key. It’s not a problem when I’m out and about, killing stuff all the time, but when I’m in cities with vendors and such. Restarting it fixes it, and I don’t mind that trade-off for a cleaner screen.
