This game is not rated M, its not going to happen.

Bad idea…..go play GTA5 or Battlefield if you want that, leave this fantasy realm alone.
I’m all for graphic dismemberment and carnage. I think people getting hit with horrendous weapons and dropping bloodlessly to the ground just sanitizes violence in an unhealthy manner. That said, they don’t want to break a T rating, so it’s never going to happen.
Yeah…maybe right after they remove the plushy quaggan backpack. I think you may have the wrong game if you are looking for blood and gore.
I find the lack of cannibalism in this game disturbing…

blood yes, gore would be too over the top. If i recall correctly it was the vigil’s welcoming cutscene where the big norn dude slashing someone with his axes and theres a bloodspray, thats the kitten i’m talkin about we need more of that less shiney blue and purple particles that take up my entire screen

Sure I’m still waiting for the dog fighting mini game and wear your defeated PvP opponents facial skin as a mask update. O_o
We need more options for blood and gore in Guild Wars 2. What say you?
We need more German BPJM and Australian CB bans to cull certain groups of players from Guild Wars 2. What say you?

While I’d love an M rated MMO filled with gore, nudity and cocaine this is never going to be it.
Sounds like some of you guys would have like the “Postal” video game, what 15 years ago or so and its sequel. While not an MMO it would have been right up your alley. It got banned in a few countries. I’m not saying that is a good thing, but saying if gore and such is your thing there are options out there.

Let’s put it this way. If it did get added I wouldn’t mind. But my stand right now is that we don’t need it, it won’t add much to the game. The only thing it’ll do is bog it down with even more particle effects. I’m trying to imagine (on top of the current scene) the blood fountain that 100b would produce…
