Hi,

So I was thinking, as we can level our characters from Tombs of Knowledge and not have to move from the starting zones, its becoming alot more tedious to travel the world.

So, I was thinking it may be a nice to have an update in the future to buy Waypoints using skill points.

I was thinking, like the proofs of heroics unlocking skill points in the world, you could have the same idea with waypoints.

When you reach level 80 (debatable if you want it sooner) and unlocked all the training specialisations, you could then, either at Miyani or the Notary vendors in WvW, purchase a random waypoint in the world (maybe chose from a random waypoint in a zone), normal Tyria zones 1 skill point, HoM 5/10 points.

So, what do people think? Good / bad idea? Or any suggestions or changes?

I think exploring and unlocking WP’s is one of the best things about GW.

Having the option to buy them just takes that right out..

Bad idea in my opinion. At this rate pretty soon people wont even need to play GW cause everything will just be given to us for a few Gold..

I feel that melodramatic argument has been overused recently. And it’s disingenuous because the OP is suggesting paying for the waypoints in skill points, not gold.

I like mapping myself but I don’t care if somebody else unlocks their waypoints. Doesn’t affect me.
