when we leave or kick someone from party/squad
he’s chat log will auto clear

hope anet can keep chat log without clear

I’m sure they have servers where the chat log is saved as each sentence from each log is typed. It only disappears for players, I’m guessing.

They actually did fix this for a while. Something in one of this year’s patches reverted us to losing party chat from and for anyone no longer in the party.

This really does need fixing again. It’s very jarring to lose hunks of conversation in an instant, can wreck RP scene coordination, and allows for abusive chatters to skedaddle before anyone can save screens as proof.

Yeah, I lost a lot of fun convos I had in the Lab over Halloween…
