A nit to be picked. Would be nice to have 8 slots on the character select screen.

It would indeed. Or ten, there is room.

There is nothing to fix here, the reason you don’t have 8 character slots is because thats a way for Anet to make money (You buy more character slots from the Gem store)

I assumed the OP meant once you had bought extra slots that they might be displayed on the login page as there is indeed room. Certainly I would appreciate my 9th and 10th characters being displayed at login.

+1 from me too, annoying that I have to scroll to get to the 8th character, seems like a pretty odd design choice to fit 7.

I agree that 8 toons at the same time would be the best imo, most players that go for over 6 toons is to have one of every class, so 8 would be the perfect number.

The OP isn’t asking for 8 starter slots, s/he is asking for 8 slots to show on the selection screen once purchased, rather than 7. I’m all for that.

I believe the maximum number of slots is 64 anyway, so why not show a number that divides evenly into that?

off topic: I’d love if the toon slots were given a mouseover info regarding current crafting professions, I have 20 toons and I can never remember which toon I leveled a specific craft on. Nothing fancy needed, just “chef”, “armorsmith” etc

ya. I actually want them all in same screen and using a nice animation to control.

some class and race buttons to show only this when pressed

i have over 31 character sltos and sometime its not easy to find^^

8 or more slots visible on the screen and ability to scroll trough them with the mousewheel would make me a happy altoholic.

the more the better i wouldnt have to delete that 4 and 5 avatar every time i want a new build
