If anyone is having problems memorizing the default color scheme for Commanders markers, try the following:

Make a color scheme, for example, Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet [ROYGBIV].
Alt+1, Red
Alt+4, Green
Alt+5, Blue
