It should deal damage on hits instead of skill use, making it more reliable dps in both PvE and PvP.
eg. Whirling Axe 15 hits = 15 confusion hits.
Confusion should not deal extra dmg per target, that’s the retaliation’s job. Whirling Axe on 5 enemies should still cause 15 confusion hit, not 15×5. That would be too strong.

All this does is punish classes with a lot of multi-hit skills. It sounds a lot like anti-Warrior, Ranger, Thief, and to an extent- Engineer. Not to mention if it procced on hit and not on skill use, you would ideally never have Confusion hit in PvE, because generally you’re trying to blind and evade enemies, rather than face tank their damage.

Confusion already got buffed not long ago, IIRC it does 33% more damage now in PvE.

As a conditions mesmer (specced for confusion), I take perverse pleasure/pride in watching my enemies melt their own faces from the inside out in PvE.

Confusion already got buffed not long ago, IIRC it does 33% more damage now in PvE.

Don’t see how that matters as confusion is still just as utterly worthless in PvE and just as antifun in PvP as it ever was.
