For those people who have all of their characters at 80 or past the level of the scrolls, can something be provided so we actually have a use for these? Either be able to combine them into higher level scrolls or convert them to Spirit Shards or such.

Yes please! I’m planning on using one of my level 30 scrolls on my Revenant, but I have like 15 level 20 scrolls and absolutely nothing to do with them.

Well you can always use them to farm keys. I wouldn’t say they “have no use”. Well unless you have no more empty char slots, then I guess you are out of luck.

Use them to farm keys. With that boost, only takes a few minutes. Maybe you’ll only get some boosters and some odds and ends, but at least they’ll be free and maybe you’ll get something nice.

How about breaking them up into tomes? For 80s we can use them to get a shard (or is it a HP when we get HOT?) and for our low-levels we can still use them no matter where they are.

Lol with the game’s anniversary/birthday comes the anniversary of this thread. Unless you have an alt to level, about the only thing to do with them is key farm. Over and over.

The fastest route I’ve found is through a human guardian, raised by commoners, and wanted to join the circus. Takes about 20-25 minutes per key.
Now with the level 30 scrolls (minus two for future revenants)I may do the next story as well, I’m pretty sure that gives a second key.

I doubt they’ll be broken up into tomes, just for the fact they would be giving away 100-???(450 to me) each year depending on the number of alts you have.

Unless you have 64 characters (or whatever the max is these days), you will always have some use for these. Perhaps the request could be rephrased as “allow some conversion to make them useful to people who don’t want to level any more alts.”

My feeling is: free gift is free. Birthday rewards (in this game) have always included something for lowbie alts and something for L80s. That said, I don’t have any specific objection to providing an alternative use, except that I’m sure it means some other (minor) feature would get shelved (since every change, no matter how small, costs some dev & QA time).

the next key is the first story in the level 40 story arc. Which means you have to do all of the 10, 20, and 30 story arcs and then the first 40 story. I’ve been debating this myself but I suspect that time wise it’s not worth it. Not only do you have to do 3 full story arcs but you’ll need to run your brand new char to each story instance as you won’t have the waypoints.

@ Just A Flesh Wound: thanks for providing the info on that! I’ll probably not go for the second key in the story, by the time I get the levels and progress through the story to 40 I could probably repay the first one a few times.

Yeah I used all my lvl 20 scrolls getting BL keys, and soon a couple lvl 30 scroll and the last one for my rev.
