Was just wondering what if you could craft gathering tools that either had different animations or gave extra materials

Interesting idea. How could it be implemented though without upsetting the gem store tool/gathering booster situation?
Few ideas here:

Ruby Oricalchum Mining Pick 15% of ruby depending on tier of node.
Sickle of Bountiful Harvest – chance of extra forage materials
Sharpened axe of the Lumberjack – chance of getting planks rather than logs.

Crafting gathering tools that aren’t permanent might not upset the cash shop much.

It would upset me as I have spent tons of cash/gold on permanent ones.

well my idea is they should still be limited use so as not to step on the gemstores toes with its convenience offering but for example you would be able to get extra chances at getting sprockets and do it from an in game method as opposed to a gem store one
