When interacting with a merchant the ‘Sell Junk’ button needs to have a cog, so you can define what junk is.

When you click on the cog a menu should appear where you can further define what junk is.

Currently Selected as “Junk”
xMonster Drop
xRuined Items
xEvent Items

Other Selectable Items
_Minor Sigils
_Major Sigils
_Superior Sigils
_Minor Runes
_Major Runes
_Superior Runes
_Tier 1 Materials
_Tier 2 Materials
_Tier 3 Materials
_Tier 4 Materials
_Tier 5 Materials
_Tier 6 Materials
etc…

Obviously these would be alphabetized and incorporate a list of all possible items. Checking a box would add the item to the list of “Defined Junk”. Clicking “Sell Junk” at a vendor would then include those items into that category.

Add “United Chi” to your friends list or guild!

I’d prefer if the game didn’t confuse the definition of ‘junk’ to include yours (or anyone else’s) opinion. Instead, just have a ‘sell all ________________’ toggle — it’s doesn’t have to be called ‘junk’.

It would make my life easier to get rid of all those sigils and runes on the same click as removing the current ‘junk’.

Mark as unwanted:
O trophies.
O white gear.
O blue gear and lower.
O green gear and lower.
O minor runes and sigils.
O major runes and sigils and lower.

Those are all the options we should start with, I think, otherwise it becomes messy. Mybe add crafting mats up to t3

I’m pretty sure the game’s coding wouldn’t support this as is. Thinking about it “junk” is a predetermined set of items not a category of items. Just like mastercrafted gear is a predetermined set of stat combinations not a category of items. You probably can’t, as things are, simply roll one into the other or change one into the other and I have no idea what happens if you add two item classes to one item, say rare + junk, since they’re in direct overlap. So either the rare becomes junk or the junk becomes rare in the core code which just screws the data tables up because there is, in fact, no “junk” equipment in the game at all.

A guess.
