Would be awesome to see a bunch of missions and dungeons from gw1 incorporated into fractals for GW2. Here are some of my favorites and ideas, feel free to share yours! Just make sure, that it’s from GW1.

Yeah, that would be cool, some don’t sound like they’d be too much work, but I honestly wouldn’t know. the boss fractals are particularly interesting. I do want to mention, The Deep and Urgoz’s Warren, those would make some cool fractals, 4 regular ones and 2 bosses. Unlikely or not, that would be awesome.
they should make a thunderhead keep fractal
looking at those wiki pages brought back memories, good ones!
this would be really cool and it could also be a way for them to bring back parts of cantha and elona without bringing back the entire contents (thats the direction they seem to be going but who knows)
I think if they’re gonna add stuff, it’s most likely from Eye of the North. As that’s the direct predecessor to GW2.
Nightfall / Factions probably excluded as we don’t have any lore on that.

You just gave me a horrific flashback…

It’s a nice idea to relieve some of the best GW1 moments in the GW1 engine, but Fractals aren’t a good way of doing that. Sure, lore-wise it fits the game (what with Fractals being a door to anywhere), but the Fractals themselves… Are very much meh. They don’t appear to be that popular (see how little content ArenaNet has added to them lately; wasn’t the last thing the Scarlet fractal in 2013?), they are randomized so people who want to play through the GW1 content would have to rely on luck to experience it, it’s dungeon content (so we have all the “meta” stuff to deal with), and so on.
I would rather have another way to access that content, true GW1-style: missions you can play whenever you want with whoever you want, alone (with AI) or in a group of players.

They already did, it was called the dredge fractal.
But OP, I love your suggestions! Nolani Academy is very fractal like. I also think Kodonur Crossroads would be a good fractal too. (Basically you hunt down key masters to unlock cages, once you get enough rescued people you go storm a garrison with tons of enemies and 2 bosses).
I would love to relive GW1 missions on GW2, it would add a lot of connection with the two games beside their names and similar lore.
