Suggestion: Guild Arena upgrade
I have no objection to the idea, but I’d like to see it as a separate building and upgrade queue list. Technically we have something similar in the Aerodrome, but something like you suggest, with waves of mobs or elites etc, would be a nice addition to the GH.
It’s not like there isn’t a massive abundance of space in the GH for more buildings after all!
Sure, that sounds fun; I’d rather see foes than things like turrets etc.
I’d like to see in GW2 some kind of “Collisseum” (could be connected to this Idea of a “Training Arena”), where players are able to spawn customized amounts and mixted together enemies of all sorts.
That way you could for example fight also agaisnt monsters there in a scenario, that you would normally never find this way in normal PvE maps.
Guilds could make through the Collisseum also then prsonal “Tournaments”
You think you are good, you can beat everything?
Stand your ground in 100 (or more) rounds of Bash the Monsters in the Guild Collisseum!!! Get the Popcorn, as long its hot xD
Together with the customizable traps ect. from the Guild Arena, that would surley be interesting, when every Xth rounds not only the monsters become more and stronge,r but also the general difficulty could become harder by added Arena Traps.
The potential is absolutely there to make alot more interesting stuff out of this feature, than it is right now
This would be absolutely great for build testing. Much like the training golems, but with a variety of enemies to realistically show you what your build can do.
They could even add an experiment mode; when you enter the arena, you can set your character level (great for those who want to see how their class plays before leveling it to 80), choose your stats/runes/sigils etc. much like the PvP system. After you exit the arena, your character would be reset back to normal. I would personally love to see a feature like this to try out different builds and stat combos, to see how much survivability and damage each build has etc.
Something to think about, but sadly I don’t think a feature like this will be high in the priorization queue.
