Guild Wars 2

Could we please have some sort of guild mailing system? We hit excessive messaging at 2 people (or if that could be raised?) and for guild events or guild activity warnings, I literally have to set aside a chunk of time to do it instead of what could be done in 10 minutes. It really messes up guild events as well making people wait 30 minutes just to send out mails. My suggestion would be is there any way to make a guild mailing system that it doesn’t hit excessive if they’re in your guild?
Or if we had a choice to send the same mail to multiple people but each one would be sent it individually? I know that’s opening a chance for mail scammers or gold sellers again, but I personally have only had those in whispers for the past 2 years after you put the warning at the bottom of each mail.

I think guild-wide mailing could be reasonable. Make it an option that defaults to guild leaders only, and the guild leader can decide what ranks are allowed to send mail to the whole guild. This way, you prevent someone from joining a guild and immediately just spamming and gold selling..

If such a feature is enabled, I’d like some restrictions on it:

• guildies can “opt out” of receiving them
• it must be sent via the guild interface (not the mail), so that senders have a chance to edit/polish it before it goes out
• there should be some sort of limit on how many we receive.
• senders should have control over which ranks get to see it.
