yes the animations look fantastic and all, but if you play melee you can’t see a blasted thing and 90% of the time your hitting nothing but air cuz the enemies die so blasted fast. being able to toggle a function to hide other player character’s animations would be a great quality of life improvement. as it stands right now, melee is horrible to play cuz you can’t see 1mm in front of you cuz there are 100000000000000000000000000000s of blasted animations cluttering the blasted screen and you cant see a blasted thing unless you’re a blasted ranged character doing the blasting with the blasted zerg

But i thought blasting fields is good. Especially fire and water fields.

blasting is good, but you can’t see a thing if you play melee. the ability to hide other pc animations would allow melee toons to be more effective due to more visibility

The only time this has been a problem for me is when fighting world bosses, where it’s often a good idea to be ranged anyway.

But I don’t think it’s a big problem even when using melee weapons because you don’t actually need to aim for your target and therefore don’t need to be able to see it. As long as you’ve got the target selected and you’re in range (which you can tell by checking whether you’re dealing damage or getting a message on screen that you’re out of range) you’ll hit the target.

It isn’t animations that are the problem, its all of the bright overlapping skill effects. Turning off “animations” would just make things really awkward. Players would just float around like ghost zombies.

exactly my point, Manu.6078… we can’t see a blasted thing and we don’t know if stuff is hurting us unless we babysit our health orb/bar/thing. we need a way to turn off the other pc animations so we can see
