While there have been threads previously that warned about the risks involved with the Ecto Gamble, I haven’t seen much love for this little skritt. I admit that I’m completely in love with this new mechanic Anet introduced to the game. I’m estimating that I’ve spent close to 30,000 Gold on buying Globs of Destabilized Ectoplasm. Double clicking those buggers all day long and watching my inventory fill with merchant fodder puts a twinkle in my eye. But I digress. While there’s an achievement connected to this wonderful skritt, the Legendary Tarrktun Supporter, I feel there needs to be more.
Using only 100 Globs of Destabilized Ectoplasm is enough to max this achievement. But what about the players who crave more? 200 Globs? 500 Globs? Heck, some even using 1,000 Globs. I suggest that Anet add more layers to the achievement, and even consider a special title for those who are truly deserving: The Shiniest of Shinies
