Can we maybe get a indicater of our overall progress in HotS ? Like with central tyria ? Maybe a window under the current one with out Hots + Season 3 Progress? and then a new one for the next expansion + season 4 and so on….

Core maps are tracked for the title you get for completing them all and for the Gifts of Exploration you get which are needed for the first set of legendaries.
The new maps you need the 4 maps released with HoT and none of the others for the new legendary weapons.
Not saying it is a bad idea but there is no real “need” to track these maps.

I think it could be nice to have some sort of small emblem in your map UI for each ‘region’. So like you say the current emblem for core Tyria, one for LS2+HoT+LS3, one for XP2+LS4 and so on. At the same time they could then also change the small UI bit on character login where it says XX% map completion into each emblem with a %. Those emblems could be grayed out till you complete them after which the % disappears and you’d get a colored version.

Anyway that’s just an idea I had in my head for a while now. They could seperate LS and expansions too, but they have to keep space in mind.

As Yargesh says, there’s no “need” to track this.

On the other hand, it would be convenient to be able to see something on the character select screen:

• Map Completion: x%
• LS1-2 Maps: y of 2
• HoT Maps: z of 4
• LS 3 Maps: w of 6

So I’d chalk this up to something that’s “nice to have,” not something the game needs.

I would like it if the character screen kept track of total world completion, that updated each time a new map was added to the game.
