I am, actually, astonished this isn’t already available, because it ought to be a very, very simple implementation. So simple, it surely must have been asked for before, but I don’t hang around the forum much, so my apologies if this is duplication…

When you right click on an item, you get a pop-up box with various options from equip to destroy to buy / sell on the BL… How difficult would it be to add another option, “Query Wiki”, that automatically did the chat window equivalent of “/wiki {item name}”? As an analyst / programmer by trade, I have to say “Not at all” in any language.

As to why I’m asking, I’m surprised I never thought of it before. But even though I’m a Day One player, I still find lots of reasons to query the (‘strordinarily useful) wiki, and often it’s about items. Just a little thing to improve the user experience. Just a thought…

Nice idea. Maybe the pertinent Dev will see it, and then..one day…we will see it in-game!

Good idea. Also useful if it were also an option by right-clicking items at a vendor or on the TP.

You can type /wiki in the chat window and then control click the item, that’ll make up the command to go straight to the relevant wiki page. Not as straightforward as clicking it from the drop-down menu, but you don’t have to write out the whole item name.
