Suggestion: Karma/Token item returns.
Does not work because it auto unlocks in collection and achievements.
Id say this wouldn’t work at all. First because yes, once you purchase it you unlock the skin for good. You purchased it for the stats with is a great, cheap way to get zerk stuff, but typically dungeon items are unlocked for the skin or for the collection achievement.
The tokens you spent weren’t wasted. You got a skin, progressed in your collection, and you didn’t have to spend any gold on a max exotic stat.
I can’t even imagine the headache of allowing a refund period for both collection progression and wardrobe unlocks. Buyer beware, and you can’t help what drops. Consider yourself lucky: you aren’t out 10 gold because of this.
Yeah….. I definitely bought an amulet with 1k bandit crests and 10g…. and then realized I needed an accessory not an amulet./
Looks like I will be farming another 1k crests
While I would like to see something like this, I feel that making a mistake, through no motives other than your own, should not warrant changes to the game.
Lesson learned…. pay more attention next time.
Yes it could be done, with the clear understanding that you would lose unlocked skins etc however, to implement it would require an initial large amount of caretaking by Anet and they are unlikely to dedicate the resources to doing so.
So, I get what everyone is saying about the unlocks, I didn’t think about that.
It’s just when [Bonettiās Reaper] dropped for me I should have been excited. Instead, all I felt was disappointment and that really sucks.
To TheBlackLeech.9360, I bought an incorrect amulet with laurels once and man did that hurt. It sucks making a mistake and not being able to do anything about it.
