Since they have now added a WvW level requirement to craft a legendary. (you need to be level 30 to get a gift of battle)

All players should have to be WvW level 30 before they can even equip them. If you already have a legendary then it cannot be used again until you are WvW level 30 or more. Fair is fair, why should some players be forced to have a requirement that others do not?

Also, this would force players who purchase legendries off the TP to actually play the game before they could equip them.

You didnt really think this one through, did you now? You can get to level 30 in no time, just by hopping along with the zerk. Second, you can just buy WvW experience with laurels..

While you’re about it, why don’t we add:

To creation:
A required fractals obtained gift

To equip
A req of lvl 40 fractals
and
A req of lvl 30 (wolf) in pvp
and
A commander tag
and
The dungeon master title

Since as someone else has said elsewhere, you should have to experience all parts of the game to have one. Let’s just see how many people we can kitten off today…

This was one reason I finished my gift of battle on Saturday. I am not a big WvW player. I love that it’s there for the ones who love it. Not me so I guess this is my only, legendary I’ll be making.

If you don’t want to do what it takes to make a legendary, then you don’t deserve it. Otherwise, pay the premium or deal with it.

Yes you can buy it but you have to pay a premium if you do not want to take the effort to do the non-tradeable portions.

There is a reason why there is so much profit in making/selling legendaries. There are people out there who are too lazy/impatient to outright make their own, so they pay a +600g premium for badges, world completion and karma.

If you don’t want to do either of those account-bound components, then be prepared to either pay 600g or deal with it.

Im willing to pay the premium if EVERYONE who has a legendary pays the premium. Cant have double standards…

I said you shoudn’t be able to.

Considering how I’ve been treated as a pve player in wvw, I don’t think anyone should have to endure such verbal abuse in order to achieve the required rank for the gift of battle. No one should be subject to such depravity.
