So I had two ideas regarding the Limited Use Finishers we have in game:

The simpler idea is that it would be nice if there was a merchant where we could exchange Limited Use Finishers we don’t want for others – this would be really useful because people who already have the permanent versions just end up destroying them (and typing in the name so that they can be destroyed can get pretty annoying).

The second idea is another merchant where we can exchange a certain number of Limited Use finishers for a permanent one – perhaps 250/a stack? And the limited use finishers can drop from related foes, for example:
Ley Line – Mordrem mobs
Jungle Wurm – Triple Trouble mobs
Toxic Offshoot – Toxic mobs
Gift/snowman/snow globe – general mobs during wintersday?

Ofcourse, some finishers would be difficult to find foes which could drop it, and then there’s the whole issue of people paying loads of gems for them (maybe make the drops really rare?). It would just be nice to have a way of getting permanent non-rank finishers without having to spend aload of gold on gems.

This post will probably come to nothing but hey, this is me throwing out a random idea! ^^

while i like the idea i am pretty sure anet will never do this because there are
waaaaay too many scarecrow and mad king finishers ingame
these 2 are so super easy to get…

everyone who tried for gwynefyrdd has like 1000 to 5000 of each of these…

thats like every gemstore permanent finisher for free with your suggested exchange ratio…

I was going to suggest something for this issue myself.

I don’t want to destroy items, so there should be some use for them.

At least some Mystic Forge recipe to turn the limited finishers we already own into others to try them out would be great, even if they are random.
