Wouldn’t it had been cool if at the end of the LS we eneded up with a full set of armor gained purly from LS patches? That way we could show that we were present at key parts of the story and untill the end. I find this better than 200 back items, 100 shoulders and 50 head pieces that just sit in bank for lack of characters to use on (I have 8 80’s) what are your thoughts?

A full set of armor for just playing the game ? Madness ! They release a new armor through the gem store every month, you should be happy !

Now that this is out of the way, yes it’d be nice. But it won’t happen. We used to get backpack but they finally got the message. They tried shoulders but it looked weird on it self. Now it’s helms. Soon it’d be gloves, then boots then…backpack, because it’d be too nice to have pants or tops.

I don’t see why it can’t happen if enough people like the idea, that is what suggestions ate for right? I always did wonder why we never got tops or pants.

A full set of living story armor would be awesome. My bank is chock full of back-items and helms I’ll probably never use…

if they would ever do this, they probably have it trough ether the gem store, behind a huge limited grind fest or in a chest….the RNG one…..
just imagine, an armor that looks really nice and can be bought like a normal armor for a normal price (like 1g for chest gear), that would be as if Anet cares about the community…..

My suggestion would obviously be for season 2, as season 1 is wrapping up and what i meant was that they should release parts of the armor with the LS updates so by the time the LS wraps up you end up with a full set (as opposed to a bunch of parts that do not match with each other), they can still put out back items and such as there would be a lot of updates if they continue with the 2 week updates.

I do not, however, think that it would be a good thing for this armor to be bought but earned, just like it is now through the metas. Of course once the LS wraps up the armor should be gone as well, this would show who was there for the evens that took place. Unfortunately as much as i like a lot of the skins that the LS has brought with it its kind of hard to show them off while they sit in my bank. And as we all know GW2 isn’t really “multiple skin” friendly
